Location Spotlight: Earl Warren Showgrounds
The Earl Warren Showgrounds was originally developed as the permanent location for the Santa Barbara National Horse and Flower show as well to attract and support other equestrian and agricultural events to the Santa Barbara area. In 1950, a site at the corner of Las Positas Road and Calle Real was selected for the showground.
Today the Earl Warren Showgrounds is a 34 acres multi-use property located in the City of Santa Barbara. The property is bordered to the west and north by the Santa Barbara Community Golf Course. Facilities include 22,000 sq/ft Exhibit Hall, 13,000 sq,/ft Warren Hall, and reception Garden.
The Earl Warren Showgrounds is a community asset increases and remains the only public location with relatively large indoor facilities, abundant parking (1007 spaces) and easy freeway access.

Requirements: Contract between Earl Warren Showgrounds and Client.
Deposit: A non-refundable deposit is required at the time the reservation is made. Reservations for events at the Showgrounds can be made up to twelve months in advance. Events booked within a twelve month period are held on a firm basis with a deposit.
Security Personnel: It is the policy of the Showgrounds to have security present for all events. The number and type of security personnel required will be determined by management. The Showgrounds requires that only the licensed Showground’s security company may perform security services on the premises.
Bridal Dressing Room: No
Time Allotments: 8:00 am – 12:00 midnight for indoor events & 8:00 am – 10:00 pm for outdoor events. A written request to operate an event beyond the policy is required prior to the start of the event.
Catering: May bring their own caterers
Parking: Parking is free to all events with non-paying guests. Parking will be charged for all paid attendance events.

Event Insurance: Renters are required to provide evidence of authorized insurance for the term of the Rental Agreement protecting the liability of the State of California and the 19th DAA, their officers, servants, agents and employees, from occurrences as to commercial general liability insurance (and automobile liability insurance, if applicable) which are limited to the operations of the contractor.
