Location Spotlight: Rockwood
Rockwood, Santa Barbara Woman’s Club
Hello Santa Barbara Wedding Guide readers, my name is Kelly Oshiro [kellyoshiroevents.com] and I am a local Santa Barbarbara event designer and wedding planner. Today I’d like to highlight a fabulous wedding location, Rockwood Woman’s Club (in fact I liked it so much, I got married there!).

Just up the road from the Santa Barbara Mission, this Spanish style building was built in the 20’s. A large stone patio runs the length of the reception hall and features graceful oak trees, lush greenery and a grand outdoor fireplace. If you are looking for an all-in-one venue, this oak-shaded patio offers the perfect setting for a ceremony. The picturesque grounds are also a great background for photos.

Inside there is a formal lobby with another fireplace. Through the red velvet curtains is the main hall, with dramatic high ceilings, wood floors and a small stage. One side is a mezzanine area that works well as a spot for the bar, buffet, cake display or just used as a lounge area.

Rockwood can easily accommodate up to 200. Pricing is $3,800 for up 150 guests, for more than 150, its $4,200. The location will also allow you to begin setup on Friday, which is a great bonus.
