El Paseo is a quintessential traditional Mexican restaurant tucked away in the heart of downtown Santa Barbara, thru a passage-way, off of State Street. What makes this restaurant unique and special is the gorgeous Mexican plaza garden setting. The restaurant is within a courtyard surrounded by the traditional Mexican architecture and décor.

The traditional cuisine includes their famous frosty Margaritas, homemade chips and salsa and authentic Mexican specialties. El Paseo is an ideal location to host rehearsal dinners, casual wedding receptions, engagement parties and any other celebration.   This venue will leave a wonderful and long lasting impression in anyones mind.

Site fee:
There is no site fee, just a minimum dollar amount that must be spent for closing out the restaurant. This amount depends on day/time of event. The amount runs anywhere between $4,000 t0 $12,000. Generally, Friday or Saturday night are $12,000. Any other night are $6,500. Day time events are $5,000. There is a $45 per person coverage fee.

90 person minimum & 250 maximum.

The courtyard which is 7,000 square feet.

7 hours

Catering:
They have their own professional catering staff. Food can be either placed or buffet. There is no cake cutting fee.

Parking:
Street parking and valet parking available next to the restaurant.

Music:
Clients provide their own music.

Alcohol Policy:
There is a wine corkage fee. No other alcohol allowed in.

What is Provided:
Tables, china, glass, silver, napkins.

Decoration:
Clients can bring in their own decoration. Decorations can include anything free standing. Nothing can be attached to walls, as El Paseo is historical land site.

Cancellation Policy:
Return of full deposit ($1,000) if cancellation is made within 90 days
