If you are a regular reader of this blog, well thank you–and you might have caught on that I’m a little obsessed with chairs. In addition to my eternal quest for interesting event seating, on a personal level, I simply enjoy discovering a great, new chair design, for the pure pleasure of admiring that magical harmony of functionality,  innovative design, balance, comfort, and of course beauty–however subjective it may be.  On a recent field trip down to the Gallery of Functional Art at Bergamot Station, I had the pleasure of perusing some delightful new finds that I wanted to share.  Who knew folding chairs could be so fabulous?

The Fluxchair is a true innovation. At $220 each, It may not win the cheap and cheerful award, but It certainly does offer brilliant, award-winning, innovation to be admired.  I found myself sitting, staring, and walking around it, then wanting to examine it from every angle.
