Location Spotlight: Arlington Tavern

The Arlington Tavern is a new restaurant in downtown Santa Barbara where food lovers go to enjoy delectable and innovative modern American farm fresh food created from local ingredients.

The casual atmosphere, delicious food, fun ambiance, good price point and downtown location make this Bistro a local’s favorite and an ideal location for an intimate special event, wedding shower, rehearsal dinner or festive occasion.

The décor is casual upscale, with warm wood, stone and brick.  Table placement is cozy, with seating for intimate parties of two, or larger groups for parties or events. The restaurant also offers a private dining room for couples or small groups with personalized service and customized menu options.

The intimate patio that can be used for cocktail style service or a seated dinner for up to 20 people.  Or, if you are keeping it intimate, and want to see the action in the kitchen, the chef’s table can accommodate up to 10 people.

The talent of Chef and Owner Ron True stem from his culinary experiences which include Zuni Café in San Francisco, Gramercy Tavern in New York, and LaVarenne, Anne Willan’s famed cooking school in France. The farm to table California cuisine uses the freshest of ingredients to create dishes inspired by American creative fare.

My favorite menu items include the fried egg and asparagus appetizer, deliciously drizzled with a tarragon vinaigrette and the local halibut with brussell sprouts, fava beans and bacon leek which is prepared with perfection.

Requirements: Reservations.  Dinner service 5p-10p, bar opened until 12a

What is Provided: Tables, chairs, existing decor.

Alcohol Policy: Only beer and wine are served at the Tavern.  No outside alcohol allowed.
