Demetria Estate Winery is located in Los Olivos, CA in the Santa Ynez Valley. It is a family owned and operated winery that was established in 2005 by Sandra and John Zahoudonis. Demetria Estate uses both sustainable and biodynamic farming methods across their vineyards to produce a variety of Burgundian and Rhone-style wines. The winery itself has a Mediterranean feel, true to their Greek roots, and is renowned for its great family vibe and beautiful architecture. The Zahoudonis named their winery after their daughter Demetria, also meaning the goddess of earth, fertility and harvest — a fitting name. Visits to the tasting room require reservation.

Site fee:
$10,000.00 — for the location only, all outdoors.

Capacity:
Up to 250 people.

Areas:
Guest house (included in site fee) features a two bedroom two bath and sleeps six, patio area — perfect for cocktails, front area for ceremony (features large wooden doors for the bride’s entrance and a long circular driveway), lower field for the dance floor.

Restrooms:
Only one on the property, portable restrooms required for weddings and events.

Bridal Dressing Room:
Bridal preparations for the big day are accommodated in the Guest Cottage. A two nights stay is included in the site fee, which includes the night before your event and the night of your event.

Requirements:
Shuttling guests to location, supply portable restrooms. Bring your own kitchen if there is a caterer, supply generators.

Time Allotments:
Set-up on Friday, event on Saturday. rental time goes until midnight.

Catering:
not included in the rental fee. Demetria Estate has a list of approved vendors, but guests can choose their own caterers.

Music:
Not provided, can go until Midnight.

Alcohol Policy:
Must purchase Demetria Estate Wine, other beer and alcohol is allowed as long as the caterer has an alcohol license.

What is Provided:
Only the site.

Decoration:
Anything goes as long as the site is cleaned at the end of the event.

Insurance:
One million dollar general liability insurance required.
