Milk and Honey Farm is a quintessential country property that features 2.9 grassy acres, a furnished barn, horse stable, chicken coop, and corral. The property itself is encased by trees, separating the event from any outside distraction and allowing for privacy and intimacy. Located off the Patterson exit in Goleta, the farm is convenient for travel accommodations and tourist attractions alike.

The barn has a two levels that offer separate amenities for both public and private use. The upstairs loft has a furnished living area with beds, couches, a projector, and dressers that are perfect for creating a bridal dressing room. The other side of the loft acts as a stage area for either live bands or DJ’s. The downstairs of the barn boasts high ceilings and acts as a dance floor. There is also a full restroom and optional farm decor provided by the property owner.

The outside area of the property boasts several farm facilities adjacent to a large, grassy space. The lower corral is separated from the barn and chicken coop, and can be used as an outdoor dance floor. In addition to the stable and animal areas, there is an elegant veranda further down the property that has traditionally hosted the alter during the wedding ceremony.

However you chose to use the amenities, Milk and Honey Farm is accommodating and ensures a unique event tailored to your preferences.

This is a Ceremony and Reception venue with overnight accommodations available for additional rental.

Pricing: $

Site fee:

Events cost $100 per hour (there is no charge for clean up or set up) and weddings cost $2000 for the day of the event. The overnight rate is $250 per night, which includes breakfast and room for five people. There is also an $100 cleaning deposit and a $200 booking deposit.

80-100 guests

Areas:

The property includes an enclosed barn; downstairs hosts the dancing and reception and upstairs is a living area for guests. Outside, there is a veranda for the altar, in front of a large grassy area. There is also a corral area that has been used in the past as an outdoor dance floor.

Restrooms:

There is a full restroom downstairs in the barn, as well as room for portable restrooms on property.

Bridal Dressing Room:

The upstairs loft can be used as dressing room and living quarters.

Requirements:

The owner asks that the client help with set-up and clean up.

Time Allotments:

Weddings are rented for 48 hours, set up time can be 24 hours in advance. All parties must end by midnight.

Catering:

Catering is not provided but Jennifer will help with setting up as needed.

Parking:

There is room for 35 cars or about 75 people. Valet is required for parties exceeding this amount of cars.

Music:

There is room for both live bands and amplified music; part of the upstairs loft has room for bands and DJ’s. Music typically is shut off or turned down by 10 pm.

Alcohol Policy:

None

What is Provided:

The owner provides beds, couches, a projector for slide shows, optional decorations and furniture, and a full bathroom.

Decoration:

There is some folksy decorations provided in the barn that can either be replaced or incorporated with the client’s own decorations.

Insurance:

The owner has an umbrella insurance policy, but for large parties she requires a one day policy.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation for weddings is one month in advance. For parties, allow two weeks.
