WEDDING RECEPTION AND PARTY
Written by Lindsey Hartsough of Magnolia Event Design:
"For the final event we wanted the colors to reflect the sunset. Rich deep reds, oranges, purples, golds and bronze. We brought in fun and lively elements that allowed guests to have fun all night long. They arrived at El Encanto and found a lantern with their name and table number which acted as their escort card. During the cocktail hour their was a photo booth with a custom design backdrop by Open Air Photo Booth that matched their invitation suite and the it print, but this time guests saw it in the sunset tones, there was a henna artist, linens by La Tavola Fine Linens appropriately named, Sunset, and a Jazz trio by The Selections. When guests entered the dining room they found stage backed in deep purple velvet, encased by gold floral boxes filled with sunset toned dahlias and a custom high gloss round bronze dance floor. The evening was filled with dancing between courses, toasts from their nearest and dearest and then a late night treat of Santa Barbara's favorite- The Burger Bus."
