Q - What is your favorite location to work? What is the style that makes this location special for couples?
A - We are so blessed in Santa Barbara that it is hard to choose just one! We are always excited to serve at the Moxi & renovated Cabrillo Pavillion. If historic charm is in the air, then definitely the Santa Barbara Historical Museum or Casa De La Guerra. But, those endless summer night receptions are always memorable at Zaca Creek Ranch, Roblar Winery and Farm, and Sunstone Winery. It depends on the couples’ tastes and preferences, but all these settings bring their own charm and magic.
Q - What is your #1 top piece of advice you give to couples before they hire you?
A - I believe if couples come in with their budget range and expectations, then it is easy to recognize the value you can access with any of our HeartNSoul Service packages. We are priced competitively, and there is a certain peace of mind that comes with having us manage your complete full-service event bar and beverage needs.
Q - What is trending with your couples?
A - Our couples have really been enjoying their ability to explore and customize our HeartNSoul handcrafted Frozés (Horchata Whiskey had been the favorite for desserts this season), explore and customize their HeartNSoul handcrafted Signature Cocktails (currently Spicy Pineapples Mango Margaritas are a huge crowd pleaser), and exploring and customizing classic drinks infused with Mezcal, Japanese Whiskey, and/or CBD tincture.
Q - What are 2 things you wish couples would do for every wedding?
A - 1. Splurge on a great photographer. 2. Upgrade to the best HeartNSoul service package within budget (including a Margarita Machine). Ceremonies are getting shorter providing more reception time, and tequila is made for dancing and reception memories!
Q - To date, what wedding have you done that has made the top of your favorite list, and why?
A - My wife will really question my value if I don’t recall that our own is definitely in the top 2. It truly was an enjoyable process planning every significant detail with amazing surprises that all our guests had the chance to experience and participate in and all the elegant drinks rocked. It’s the same experience we try to replicate for our couples and their most-prized guests.
