A Stylish Pair of Grooms at the Santa Barbara Zoo
Today’s handsome grooms held their exotic, black-tie wedding at none other than the oceanside Santa Barbara Zoo. ByCherry Photography worked with the couple to capture some truly incredible moments and details, and the Santa Barbara wedding planners at Events by Rincon planned the epic day.
Animal details were baked into the entire event from start to finish. Drawings of animals adorned the invitations, table numbers were each marked with a different adorable zoo resident, the wedding cake was topped with two giraffes, and the grooms and their guests even got to feed the zoo’s live giraffes during the event.
Guests were moved, and some even brought to tears, during the outdoor ceremony officiated by a friend of the grooms. Cocktail hour was then set up underneath the venue’s impressive palm trees. Rincon Catering served passed appetizers and later wowed guests with a plated dinner meal. Local Santa Barbara DJ Patrick Butler provided reception music and the party certainly had a blast taking pictures in various, funny hats when the party was well underway. In addition to a classic white wedding cake, the grooms and guests enjoyed a dessert table filled with brownies, cookies, and churros with a wide assortment of toppings.
