We had to change our location about 2 months out from our wedding, but everyone agreed that our plan B was more than perfect. We have awesome friends that lent us their backyards for the ceremony and reception, both of which have never hosted weddings at their homes before.

We wanted to take advantage of the Santa Barbara weather and scenery by having our ceremony outside. Little did we know it would be one of the hottest days in SB and super humid, with a little rain to start the morning. We added to our SB vibes by hiring Rockstar Transportation’s trolley for our transportation and taking pics at the SB Courthouse.

Our dear friend Blessing Offor set off the evening with a "Lovely Day" singing challenge that had everyone laughing and sang for us an original song inspired by a conversation he had with my husband the day prior.

The intimate gathering made it so easy to be myself and spend time with my guests. It wasn't what I originally imagined....it was BETTER!
