Butterfly and Colorful Floral Wedding Weekend Hosted by Zaca Creek and La Arboleda

Butterflies danced and florals bloomed during this colorful late summer wedding planned by White Sage Weddings & Events. The event weekend started with a delightful cocktail hour and rehearsal dinner hosted at the Tavern at Zaca Creek—a landmark property located in the Santa Ynez Valley. The couple and guests alike gathered by the venue’s outdoor bar decorated with pastel-colored balloons from SLO Balloon for the occasion before sitting down to a meal from Field to Table Catering. More fun continued into the night—a perfect way to kick off the celebratory weekend.

On the wedding day, the party moved over to Zaca Creek’s sister venue La Arboleda, nestled in the center of the Santa Rita Hills. Mary Costa Photography was behind the camera again to capture the event. To start, the bride got ready with help from La Rouge Artistry before slipping into her classic and sleek a-line wedding gown. Her groom wore a black suit paired with a bowtie and a yamaka. The pair said their vows among the lush trees and surrounded by both family and friends and gorgeous pink and orange florals from Tangled Lotus.

Flair Project captivated guests during cocktail hour and later the reception was held in the rustic dining pavilion underneath an entire ceiling of white drapery and string lights. Amigo Party Rentals, In the Mix Events, and Otis + Pearl all joined forces to create the scene and magical tablescapes. Butterfly details were found at every turn—including the custom seating chart—and small details like vintage tinted glasses and floral, gold-rimmed plates really made the place settings pop. Similar to the rehearsal dinner, Field to Table came through with another delicious meal, and Solvang Bakery provided the wedding cake. As for entertainment, the Lucky Devils Band got the couple and guests in the groove, and a booth from Soiree Photo Booth was a definite hit.
