The theme of today’s featured wedding between Sophia and Ben was color, color, and more color. It permeated every single moment of the day and was caught beautifully by Rewind Photography. One way in which the couple - along with wedding planner Dulce Dia Events - incorporated vibrant hues into the day was by taking portraits all around the city of Santa Barbara. This included photos at the Chromatic Gate as well as time spent by the beach and around the Funk Zone later in the evening.

And, this didn’t even include all the beautiful shades found during the ceremony and reception held at the MOXI museum rooftop. Pink, orange, and yellow florals from The Poppy Pod filled the space and different colored tablecloths dressed each dinner table. At the ceremony, bridesmaids in purple stood behind the bride, who was dressed in a lace off-the-shoulder gown herself. On the other side of the altar, her groom wore a green suit while his groomsmen stood in shades of grey.

Closer to dinner time, guests were surprised with table assignments based on Santa Barbara areas including Shoreline Park, Stearns Wharf, Elings Park, the Santa Barbara Zoo, and more. Then, the party just kept on going with an amazing meal courtesy of Catering Connection. The expert team provided a grazing table, lamb kebabs, ahi tuna poke, olive tapenade, and a watermelon salad just for appetizers. For the main course, espresso-rubbed tri tip, citrus salmon, and vegetable paella were the stars of the show accompanied by green beans and roasted potatoes - a colorful meal fitting for a colorful wedding.

Later on, dancing ensued under the string lights of the MOXI rooftop with music from DJ Flamezz. And, the perfect nightcap was a sundae bar from McConnell’s Fine Ice Creams featuring both sprinkle cake and toasted almond chip flavors.
