Colorful, Stylish, & Beautiful Summer Wedding at the Santa Barbara Club
Welcome to Melissa and Derek’s lovely summer wedding day shot by Jen Rodriguez. As you peruse, you will find plenty of incredible details that showcase the expert planning skills of Gatherings and Good, but most importantly express the true love that this couple obviously share. On the bright August morning, the bride’s hair was done by Under the Veils and she was surrounded by her bridesmaids and mom as she prepared for the special day. Bridesmaids followed a new trend of wearing mix matched dresses but all in pleasing shades of pink and purple. After a round of pool and a celebratory toast with his groomsmen, the groom was also ready to go in his light grey suit, standing out from the rest of his bridal party.
The pair was able to get their nerves out and have a touching moment during their first look at the Santa Barbara Courthouse. Then, they were ready for the big moment. Over at the Santa Barbara Club, Blooms by Melly set up an absolutely exquisite floral arrangement at the base of a large tree in the garden. This acted as the main focal point for the ceremony. At the reception more blooms and candles decorated the tables and guests sat at round tables under floating string lights. Drinks and food were served, toasts were spoken, and Red Shoe LA was on the mic and the turn tables for the evening.
