Dark-Toned Garden Wedding with a Colorful Carousel Photoshoot

Sierra and Sebastian's Malibu wedding is the literal definition of natural elegance. Nestled into the less-trod paths of Calamigos Ranch, the couple held their ceremony and reception in the Birchwood Room; an intimate space that transports you out of Malibu and into your own personal fairytale forest.
From the moment the guests arrived, till the sun slipped out of view, light sparkled as it shone through the blanket of trees, making for an ethereal and deeply romantic atmosphere. As impossible as it may seem to make this space even more beautiful, Blossom Floral Design created lush and dramatic arrangements, bringing the simple beauty of the scenery into the foreground.
And somehow, if the ceremony wasn't magical enough, when the sun set and the stars came out, the space was transformed once again. Guests dined amongst lights twinkling from the sky and countless strung lights, on a multitiered patio suspended from the branches of a hundred year old California Oak Tree.
The many details of the night were handled by Events by Fran with as much flair and flavor as the couple's geode cake, made by Sweet Art Bake Shop. Lucky for you, you can see all of this come to life, as the night was expertly photographed by Gabrielle Von Heyking.
