Desert Chic Wedding with Ocean Views by KB Events
Santa Barbara wedding planners KB Events brought us today’s pink and desert-inspired wedding at the secluded and picturesque Ocean View Farm. The magic of this summer wedding day was all in the details with boho and classic floral arrangements from the Tangled Lotus, an open-air reception space with lights from Spark Creative, and a dessert table to die for from Enjoy Cupcakes.

This couple wanted to bring desert chic to the sweeping ocean views of Carpinteria to celebrate their wedding. They brought in pampas grass and gold geometric accents to add a bit of boho to Ocean View Farm's coastal perch and their dusty rose color palette. The chandelier over the dance floor added character to the barn space and helped anchor the central dance floor. Choosing Carpinteria for their wedding location was easy since Kyle had so many fond memories vacationing there with his family throughout his childhood.
Marlee loves black and gold so it was no surprise she broke out her leather jacket to add an edge to golden hour photos. Marlee's jewelry business, Tovaa, allows you to match her stunning ring style. Marlee and Kyle wanted to promote a relaxed atmosphere for their guests by including a grazing station and blue velvet lounge. Marlee and Kyle recited traditional vows during the ceremony and opted to write letters to each other to read them prior the ceremony. During dinner there were heartfelt toasts from parents of both the bride and groom, the maid of honor and the best man. The best man's toast had a bonus shot included that has been a tradition among Kyle's friends for years.
Overall Marlee & Kyle's wedding encompassed fashion and design details while giving guests a comfortable atmosphere and a packed dance floor!
