Planned by the talented wedding coordinator Joelle Charming, today’s wedding at Santa Barbara’s Dos Pueblos Ranch has us feeling like we’ve been transported to an enchanted forest, boasting the perfect mix of elegance and rustic charm. Before the ceremony, photographer The Gathering Season captured wedding photos of the couple and their wedding party. The bridesmaids wore a-line, tea-length lavender bridesmaid dresses reminiscent of 1950’s fashion, while the groomsmen donned a classic black and white look complete with polkadot suspenders and colorful boutonnieres by California floral designer Twig & Twine.

As guests arrived at Dos Pueblos Ranch, it felt like they’d just been swept away to a place somewhere out of a fairytale. Tucked away and surrounded by a canopy of trees, the bride walked a ceremony aisle of white petals before meeting her groom under simple white wedding drapery and green garland where they exchanged their vows before their closest family and friends.

Following the ceremony, guests were welcomed to cocktail hour with small bites by the Santa Barbara caterers at Pure Joy Catering while the wedding party posed for some playful shots on the nearby carousel. The reception was set in a rustic barn where the foraged, earth-toned arrangements complemented the head table draped in a floral tablecloth by La Tavola, a wedding event rental company. Guests gathered around the surrounding tables dressed in blush wedding linens and mirrored tops, which set the whole barn aglow as the sun set and the twinkle lights were lit overhead. A chandelier hanging from the ceiling also added an elegant touch to the rustic venue and white drapery lined the walls of the open-air barn.

The couple wrapped up the evening with a first dance accompanied by wedding music from the Dart Collective, a variety of classic white cakes, and late-night ice cream cones for guests–making the night certainly one to remember.
