Effie and Mikey, natives of Los Angeles, had gone back and forth on where and what their wedding would be. They contemplated a large, 200 person gathering, but on a birthday trip for Effie a year ago they fell in love with the Central Coast. They decided on a small destination weekend for 40 of their closest family and friends focused on the food and culture of the area. Most guests stayed in Los Alamos, CA and the weekend kicked off with a welcome party at Full of Life Flatbread.

The wedding day took place at two locations. The ceremony and cocktail hour at Presqu'ile Winery where guests were welcomed upon arrival to the beautiful courtyard and offered sparkling wine. When it was time for the ceremony, they were invited to walk through the wine caves and up the 5th floor deck. Panoramic mountain and ocean views were the backdrop for Effie and Mikey’s vows, and it was so special and emotional! Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed an incredible selection of wine and food from Presqu'ile. Everyone hopped on a shuttle and headed to Bell’s Restaurant, where they enjoyed canapés and champagne before sitting down for a five course dinner. Guest enjoyed laughs, toasts and intimate conversation throughout the evening, and the love was honestly radiating through everyone the whole day.
