Intimate Bohemian Beach Inspiration by Michelle Ramirez Photography
Our talented member and southern California wedding photographer, Michelle Ramirez brought together an exceptional vendor team for this intimate bohemian styled wedding shoot. Secluded on a beach in Montecito, this shoot elicited all the free-spirited feels and an overcast sky added to the drama of the day. From the crystal details to the elegant wedding tablescape, Santa Barbara event and wedding planner Fresch Events made sure every last detail was executed flawlessly.
Sweet Sentimentality designed a gorgeous vellum wedding invitation suite featuring marble details and hand-lettered driftwood to serve as reception place cards. With the bride and groom’s Everly rings placed in velvet ring boxes from The Mrs. Box, Michelle captured all these thoughtfully-curated pieces perfectly in a beautiful flat lay. On the beach, Amigo Party Rentals set up a small reception seating area with a low, hairpin-legged table dressed in a dusty purple table runner by Honey Silks & Co. An intricate macrame backdrop and plush pillows for seating added to the bohemian feel. Decorated with a lavish flower centerpiece by wedding floral designer Tangled Lotus, pink and white blooms added a touch of softness, while a large protea flower stole the show.
The bride wore a long, flowing wedding dress from Carol Hannah Bridal that both contrasted the lush greenery and complemented the lightness of the sand and sea. Brenda Hendricks Artistry created a gorgeous half updo with cascading soft curls to complete the bride’s wedding day look. Both the bride and groom looked stunning, but of course, we can’t forget about the handsome and playful pup, Bear, who posed alongside them.
To complete the shoot, an elaborate crystal-streaked purple and blue wedding cake was created by Golden Mittens Bakery, looking almost too perfect to eat. After a few fun photos along the coastline, the team wrapped up the styled wedding shoot with a sweet sparkler session as the sun set in the distance.
