Intimate Wedding Under the Palm Trees
This couple’s Santa Barbara wedding ceremony was small and intimate but bursting with love and pure joy. The day began at the Spanish-inspired Belmond El Encanto Hotel with a beauty session for the bride with wedding makeup provided by Thairapy Salon and a wedding hairstyle by Marisol Martinez at the Montecito Village Salon & BlowDry Bar. The Santa Barbara hotel later became the perfect spot for a private wedding photoshoot with the couple.
The bride fashioned a lace-detail wedding gown as she walked into the ceremony at The Santa Barbara Sunken Gardens, a tropical and iconic Santa Barbara wedding setting, accompanied by her father. Brett Hunter provided live wedding music for the event and the bride and groom stood out against a background of lush palm trees.
Guests then made their way to The Santa Barbara Club after the personalized ceremony and enjoyed beautifully plated hors d’oeuvres and a deliciously made farm-to-table wedding dinner prepared by the culinary team of the Club.
The simply-designed reception tables featured wedding flowers by the talented Stephanie Aquilon, a Santa Barbara florist. SMI Concepts, an event production and wedding lighting company, made sure to light up the outdoor wedding venue so the night would be complete with a little bit of dancing on the design-forward white dance floor.
