Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting an intimate dinner for 30 talented Santa Barbara wedding planners and vendors at Kiva State Street, a dynamic Santa Barbara venue located in the heart of Downtown. The evening was a celebration of community, connection, and the joy of coming together after a busy season in the Santa Barbara wedding industry.

To create a warm and inviting atmosphere, we adorned the space with elegant draping and uplights, transforming the room into an intimate haven. The existing Sonos sound system provided the perfect backdrop of music, setting the tone for a lovely evening of conversation and laughter among the Santa Barbara wedding professionals.

One of the highlights of the event was the gorgeous 30-foot long wooden table and matching benches, all crafted from singular large intact pieces of wood by All Heart Rentals, a boutique Santa Barbara vendor with unique handmade wooden rentals. This stunning centerpiece added a rustic charm to the dinner, creating a sense of unity and togetherness among the guests.

The tabletop rentals, provided by Amigo Party Rentals, another exceptional vendor, featured their new lines of ceramic dinnerware, ivory-like handled silverware, laced table runners, Aria glassware, and gorgeous Stonewash Ecru napkins. These beautiful details elevated the dining experience, making it feel both elegant and inviting.

Guests were treated to a delicious dinner catered by Buena Onda, a popular Santa Barbara vendor, featuring an array of empanadas with various fillings, a refreshing house salad, and savory papas. The ever-popular cheesecake from Andersen's Bakery, a beloved Santa Barbara restaurant, and delightful Christmas bites added a touch of sweetness to the evening. Beverage service was provided by Licores Perros, ensuring that everyone's thirst was quenched throughout the night.

Ideal for wedding receptions and rehearsal dinners this particular space is ideal for a lovely dinner for 30-40 guests, followed by a welcome reception expanding to the atrium and outside area for 150+ guests. The flow of the space allows for a seamless transition from intimate dining to a lively celebration, making it a versatile choice for any Santa Barbara wedding or event.
