What a sweet wedding that Kelsey Crews was able to photograph at a private residence in Los Olivos. Here is what she had to say about this special day:
You may have seen their Funk Zone engagement session…from that, I knew we would enjoy photographing their wedding! It was such a special day, because they were officially establishing a new family. Jennifer’s children played such a big part in the day, it made me emotional, behind the camera. Ryan is obviously handling his new role, as a father figure, very well. Watching Jennifer’s reactions and emotions throughout the day, it was apparent that this day meant so much to her. I love seeing such strong families become even more united! Not only was this a gorgeous marriage between the bride and groom, but it was also a special day for them, as a family…so special, that they even had a matching dress made for Jennifer’s daughter. I love that there was so much importance placed on this aspect of the wedding. It truly shows they know what matters most in life. Congratulations, Jennifer & Ryan! The bride and her bridesmaids carried gorgeous all white bouquets by Elegance in Bloom during the outdoor ceremony which was held beside a refreshing pool at the residence. After the ceremony, the guests found their escort cards attached to mason jars for the guests to use throughout the reception for their drinks and then take home at the end of the night as a wedding favor. Polka Dot Planners provided a delicious dinner and DJ Kamayo Entertainment along with Nick Dean provided excellent music throughout so the dancing and celebrating lasted well into the evening. The bride and groom chose a two-tier cake made by Decadence Fine Cakes & Confections decorated simply with roses and baby’s breath.
