Lavishly Detailed Zaca Creek Wedding with Persian Traditions

With so many unique and eye-catching details, it’s hard to know where to begin with today’s featured wedding put on by Santa Barbara Elopement. The day, hosted at the charming Zaca Creek, involved many Persian wedding customs and extravagances including an abundance of florals from Ella & Louie, colorful charcuterie boards, and a delectable three-tiered wedding cake created by Enjoy Cupcakes.

The lovely bride had her wedding hair and makeup done by Samara Beauty Santa Barbara before slipping into her lace, boho-style wedding gown. She then set off to meet her groom for a first look before the ceremony commenced. Guests sat in chairs provided by SYV Elite Events as the father of the bride walked her in on a ceremony aisle runner of various red patterned rugs. As is custom, the couple sat behind a table decorated with meaningful items from their lives and for part of the ceremony a white canopy was held over their heads. A traditional sugar rub and honey exchange were also completed before the couple officially became man and wife.

Otis + Pearl helped to create black and gold-inspired reception tables which paired perfectly with the stone walls of the room and exposed wood beams overhead. A traditional dance was performed at the reception before the couple and guests took over the dance floor with music from DjShai.
