Minimal Organic Wedding with Off-Whites and Faded Antique Hues
After 8 happy years together, Kimberlin and Liam were married in a romantically modern fashion at Las Palmas Estate in Montecito. The venue’s mediterranean landscape gave the event a warm and inviting, yet elegant atmosphere which carried on from the ceremony to reception. Monique Bianca captured the event filled with off-whites and Tuscan-inspired details in both digital and film photographs for a wonderful range of aesthetics.
The ceremony in the garden was simple and made use of the natural, organic surroundings. The couple recited their vows privately before walking down the aisle, but officially tied the knot in front of many close loves ones. Kimberlin wore a mermaid-style strapless white gown from NWLA Bridal and Liam looked sharp in a white tuxedo jacket and bowtie from by The Black Tux.
Wedding planner Nicole Leza’s design work really began to shine through at the outdoor reception. A mix of rectangular and circular tables from Amigo Party Rentals made up the reception—set up for an elaborate alfresco feast served by Pure Joy Catering. The wood tables were decorated with white linens, tall candles in clear glass candle holders, and minimalistic arrangements of baby’s breath, orchids, and anthurium lilies from Antheia Floral & Design.
The couple opted for a very contemporary-styled cake which was square-shaped in just one tier and topped with a vintage cake topper which had previously been used by the bride’s parents in the 80’s. DJ Nick Dean was in charge of entertainment and music during the entire day. Guests didn’t miss the opportunity to dance in honor of the occasion as the sun went down and pink uplighting filled the space. The bride even joined in after a quick change into a shorter white dress and white sneakers.
