In celebration of St. Patrick's Day, we wanted to share this wedding that truly centered greenery and plant life in the decor. Read on to see how this couple incorporated their love of the environment into their special day.

From Elizabeth Victoria Photography:

Bride and Groom

Amanda and Jason dated for a year before he proposed to her. They had a 6-month engagement before being married at a beautiful and unique venue tucked away in the Mission Canyon area,  close to the Historic Mission and Rose Garden.

The Wedding

Amanda’s inspiration for her wedding was a mix of wanting to be eco-friendly and not wasteful, and also to make sure Jason would also like the style. Both Amanda and Jason love house plants and the lush green ferns added a lot of life to the simple white pallet they had to work with at the venue. She also wanted something unique that hasn’t been seen at other weddings and something a little more modern and botanical.

Amanda and Jason loved that the venue was quintessential Santa Barbara. It had the Spanish charm and included an intricately detailed, historic chapel on the property. Since their wedding was in February, they wanted an indoor venue, but something that had beautiful outdoor areas. The reception room had several windows making it feel more open than a typical hotel ballroom.
