Moments Monday: Do Better - a note from the Editor
NOTE FROM THE EDITOR: Zohe Felici
This has been a painful time.
Like so many of you, my heart aches, I am saddened, tired, and angry.
What is happening in the world right now is a timely occurrence to pause, look around us, embrace learning, and challenge racism within ourselves.
A time to instigate candid and constructive conversations with our families, children, co-workers, and friends.
A time to listen, and to take action
A time to join the momentum of this perverse constellation.
To use this time of alignment to allow what is out of balance to become abundantly clear by using this energy to envision, explore and expand this ‘Glorious Poetic Rage’
I hold so much gratitude to those who have taken action both outside and within the wedding industry.
At Santa Barbara Wedding Style, our work is just beginning, but because of you, our audience, I am forever inspired, and optimistic.
Please know we are committed to being part of a long-term solution. And we ask our wedding community to join us in that pledge.
We will dedicate this week to education, conversation, and seeking understanding within our community both on this platform and other wedding education avenues we offer.
We implore you to join the conversation with open arms, an open heart, and open ears.
