National Red Wine Day with Roblar Winery

Red wine from Roblar Winery

Today is National Red Wine Day and a subtle hint that autumn is on the horizon. Refreshing whites and fruity summer rosés had their time to shine this summer, and now we’re excited to fill our glasses with bold reds. Whether you prefer dry or sweet, light-bodied or full-bodied, high tannic or low tannic, there is a red wine out there for you. And, you won’t find a better selection than at Roblar Winery located in the heart of Santa Barbara County.

Roblar Winery, along with the wines it produces, can be described as rustic, authentic, and bold. The location of the vineyard as well as the area’s dynamic climate help it to produce a diverse variety of offerings. This includes its star-studded list of red wines and you’ll find that each provides its own unique flavor profile. The vineyard’s Cabernet Franc is aged for 18 months in 90% neutral French oak barrels and combines hints of red and black fruits with cocoa and vanilla. The Grenache is dark and spiced, and finishes with more of a vinous sweet tannin. Other Roblar red wine options include Grassetto, Ottimo, Petit Verdot, Petite Sirah, and GSM - a vibrant blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre.

Wine lovers of all kinds are invited to experience Roblar’s wine selections with the winery’s tasting packages. The 90-minute tastings also include built-in views of the Santa Barbara wine country along with fresh, locally-sourced cuisine such as cheese boards, wood-fired pizzas, vibrant salads, and freshly baked cookies. What’s more, Roblar Winery and Roblar Farm are perfect venues to rent out for events like private dinners or unforgettable weddings. And, when you book the venue you also get access to Roblar’s unbeatable assortment of whites, reds, rose, and sparkling wines.
