Nighttime New Year's Eve Navy and Gold Wedding

From the Planner: Kayla and Robert wanted to start the New Year off right and chose to celebrate their nuptials on New Year's Eve. Looking for an elegant and quaint location to celebrate their BIG day so we booked the Belmond El Encanto to host their special day.

Inspired by a gold and navy blue invitation set, we set up a dramatic nighttime ceremony at the Lily Pond. Bellavista Designs built a custom walkway over the existing pond and created a dramatic aisle for the bride, including string lights above and clustered of pillar candles. The romantic atmosphere led to and a 'draped wall' of twinkly lights to frame the ceremony alter.

Following the ceremony guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d'ouvres under the alcove of the pond before heading down to the ballroom. Lighting and music by DJ Gavin Roy welcomed guests for grand entrance followed by a dance set prior to sitting for a delicious three course dinner.

Gold linens from Luxe Linens were a perfect match with custom round menus on gold chargers and the soft, fluffy and gorgeous white and blush colored floral centerpieces by Precious and Blooming.

Following dinner guests enjoyed a few hours of casino style entertainment, and turned up the beat with bongo drums playing alongside. DJ Gavin (the groom got to play a set too!). At the count of midnight guests rang in the New Year and celebrated alongside the bride and groom with noisemakers, hats and lots and lots of love.
