Ojai Private Lavender Ranch Wedding by White Sage

Kristi and Erik shared a beautiful and intimate wedding at a private lavender ranch in Ojai, which they found through our venue liaison services. They visit Ojai often for weekend getaways—in fact, they got engaged while staying at the Ojai Valley Inn—and so they selected Ojai for their destination wedding celebration!
They envisioned a venue where guests and family could relax for the weekend and fall in love with Ojai as they had. Their rehearsal dinner took place at Azu in downtown Ojai. The back room and private trellised patio provided the perfect first impression to the beautiful city. Brooke thought of the lavender ranch immediately for the venue and upon touring, Kristi and Erik knew it was their ideal space.
As a stylist, Kristi had a clear vision of the atmosphere they were looking to create. As for Erik, his top priority was an amazing meal. Knowing they wanted a spring wedding, mid-May was selected because the lavender would just be coming into bloom.
When guests arrived, they were greeted with a glass of champagne topped with an enchanting sprig of lavender as they made their way through the fields towards the ceremony. Guests found a sachet of lavender buds awaiting them at their seats. Simple seasonal greens and classic white blooms adorned guest tables and the couples’ altar.
