Proclamations of Love on a Santa Barbara Cliffside
After 10 years together, today’s love birds, Kiki and Collin, were married on a Santa Barbara cliffside in the company of their immediate family members. Although this was not the couple’s original wedding plan, the day came together beautifully with the help of many talented vendors including wedding planner Sophie Spier of Amazing Days Events.
As guests arrived at Dos Pueblos Orchid Farm, some of the animals at the greenhouse including goats and turkeys greeted them on on their way in. The ceremony itself was then held overlooking the Pacific Ocean and the January day was crystal clear as the two were wed by the bride’s own brother. Two charming flower girls were among the highlights of the proceedings, and they fulfilled their duties by scattering white petals ahead of the bride’s grand entrance. The bride wore a minimalist and elegant silk slip dress by Flora Bridal and carried a bouquet of all-white crafted by Studio Fleurish. Beside her, the groom was styled in a classic black tux and bowtie. The other men at the event followed suit in all black, and the ladies followed a light creme and blush color palette.
After a few celebratory drinks, dances, and sunset photos still on the grounds of the venue, the intimate party moved over to a private residence for the reception. One long kings table offered a modern aesthetic with gold details and fine china, and toasts all around had the group sharing in both laughter and tears. Wedding photographer Monique Bianca shot the event in a mix of both digital and film for a wonderfully diverse range of images that perfectly captured the immense amount of love this day exuded.
