Today is National Drink Wine Day - don’t mind if we do! In addition to unwinding with a glass of red or white, we are also highlighting Santa Barbara’s Urban Wine Trail in honor of the holiday.
Santa Barbara's flourishing Urban Wine Trail, nestled off State Street and a few blocks from the beach, embodies an eclectic collection of approximately thirty wine tasting rooms. Created by a group of like-minded wineries, the Santa Barbara Urban Wine Trail wine rookies to enthusiasts the opportunity to learn about and taste wines in copious varieties and styles, and crafted from Santa Barbara County’s best vineyards .
If you are looking for a rehearsal dinner or private reception location and you fancy a wine or the look of a tasting room, ask the location about private event rentals and availability, because most of them will rent their location for private gatherings.
We also suggest you walk the trail if you are on a romantic Santa Barbara destination wedding planning visit, looking for a dynamic destination for a bachelor or bachelorette party, or wanting to incorporate this activity as a wedding weekend of events for your (out of town) guests.
The participating wineries can be found in the Funk Zone, the Presidio Neighborhood, midtown, downtown, and Goleta. All of the below are on the trail:
