General Tips for Wedding Budgeting

Here are a few tips to get you started on the right track

Create a Realistic Budget

Start with a set budget that is affordable but still covers everything you need and want (the average costs below will help you determine this). Remember, your number of guests will largely affect the overall cost. Be sure to prioritize what’s most important to you. For example, you may want to splurge on a top-rated live band and cut back in other areas.

The Venue Sets the Budget

Your venue will likely consume a significant portion of your budget. Keep in mind that a venue may include additional services, such as catering, ceremony chairs, or reception tables, which will impact overall costs.

If you’re looking for lower-cost options, check out our blogs on affordable Santa Barbara wedding venues: Part 1 and Part 2. And, for more general information on picking a wedding location download our venue guide HERE.
