Sunny Lemons and Blue Coastal Waters Wedding
A soft yellow and blue palette, a furry friend, and photoshoot by the ocean - all the right ingredients for the quintessential Santa Barbara wedding day. Claudia Hoste, of Hoste Events, planned the day and worked to make it a true reflection of the bride and groom’s bright and happy personalities.
Set at the Santa Barbara Inn, the couple was able to take advantage of the hotel’s Mediterranean-inspired style and its close proximity to the beach - ending the day with a few photos by the ocean courtesy of Haley Garces. Prior to the ceremony on the venue’s green lawn, the bride had her wedding hair and makeup done by the beauty specialists at NV Glam Studio and dressed in a lovely lace-detailed wedding gown. Her husband-to-be dressed in a fresh and casual light beige suit with white underneath. Following a first look including the couple’s sweet pup, it was time for the bride’s very fashionable father to walk her down the aisle. Under swaying palm trees and a clear blue sky, the couple said ‘I do’ in front of their intimate group of guests.
At the reception, fresh lemonade was served along with a wedding meal and cake from the venue’s Convivo Restaurant. Tables were dressed in white wedding linens, with yellow flowers from Fleur de Rye, bright lemons, blue-patterned accent plates, and wicker chargers. Both The Tent Merchant and Otis + Pearl provided the necessary rentals to the make the event possible.
