Thanksgiving twenty-twenty-one-derful!
The corona-coaster kept jolting us well into 2021 and continues to present us with new challenges and redirects of life, whether personally, professionally, emotionally, or financially.
Without exception, we have all been affected by this once-in-a-lifetime occurrence.
Still, there is one VERY VALUABLE thing for me/us to be thankful for this Thanksgiving.
OUR COMMUNITY
I have watched our local wedding industry gracefully defeat the challenges the wedding boom has unfolded since June of 2021 when our region opened back up for events.
It has been such a heartwarming experience to see so many wedding vendors and venues determined to put forth valiant efforts…….all while juggling time, resources, and availability constraints that confronted us the last 5-6 months………in order to ensure that our valued couples have a FANTABULOUS time celebrating their wedding weekend in the American Riviera.
“I can unquestionably declare that Santa Barbara Wedding COMMUNITY
is what sets us apart from the world.”
Nowhere else (in the world, and I’ve experienced it first hand) have I seen wedding vendors who fanatically
- share knowledge and resources with each other
- root for each other
- volunteer themselves to lend a hand
in order to help out, especially when the entire town is trying to keep up with the post-pandemic taxing demands.
“Community over Competition” is a term that is often spoken within wedding pros in our beautiful locale….
……and it is 💯% true…. 24/7……
I know that I would not be able to create such beautiful content and inspiration for this blog if it wasn’t for the tireless work of our area’s talented wedding professionals and the Santa Barbara Wedding Style team that helps showcase Santa Barbara as the top wedding destination in the world.
From the bottom of my heart, I wish you much love, much health, much happiness, and loads of magical time to enjoy it all!
