The Barn at Gainey is perfect for couples who want rustic-chic elegance set against the pastoral loveliness of rolling hills, a creek, and live oaks. Built in the 1890’s, The Barn is located on the Gainey Ranch about a half-mile drive from the winery. This site offers a distinctive setting that allows you to use multiple spaces with everything from a sweeping meadow, to the shade of the live oaks, to the rural charm inside the barn. The Barn is an enchanting site unlike any other property in the Santa Ynez Valley.

Outside The Barn

Immediately outside the front of The Barn is an open space for an amazing dinner reception or cocktail hour as the sun is setting. This wide-open space overlooks the creek and rolling hills and has a fire pit available for use (perfect for those late night s’mores). Maximum Capacity: 200

Inside The Barn

With a recently contructed raised hardqwook floor, the inside of The Barn makes a great space for a small ceremony, cocktail hour, or end of the night with dancing to your favorite band. Maximum Capacity: 100 standing, 40-50 seated

Patrick’s Vineyard

Located down the road from The Barn, this grassy meadow provides a romantic, dreamy backdrop for a wedding ceremony. The pasture is framed by old growth oak trees and rolling hills. Maximum Capacity: 200

The Meadow

Located across the bridge from The Barn, The Meadow, is a vast open space that works beautifully for a ceremony under the vast live oak trees and/or dinner reception. Maximum Capacity: 450 seated

Parking: No. Guests must be shuttled to The Barn.

What is Provided:

• Wine Barrels

• Plank tables for bar and food services

• Fire pit located outside The Barn

• Gainey Vineyard staff to assist wedding coordinator

• Use of “the shack” for catering purposes

Time Allotment: 5 hours from 5pm-10pm

Music: Amplified allowed. Must conclude by 10pm

Alcohol Policy:

• One signature cocktail permitted

• Only Gainey Vineyard wines may be served

• Gainey will provide 2 bottled beer choices from a wide range of options. Price depends on those selected.

Decorations: No sparklers, glitter, confetti, or other non-organic decorations. Rice and bird seed are permitted.
