Trendy Wedding with Macramé Details by Ann Johnson Events
Santa Barbara Wedding Style’s A-List member and expert wedding planner, Ann Johnson Events, coordinated this stunning wedding we have for you today, held at the Ventura Botanical Gardens, a luxury event and wedding venue. The bride wore a gorgeous racer-back, lace wedding gown and carried a fabulous bridal bouquet hand crafted by California floral designer Fleur de Rye, featuring white blossoms with pops of color and sprigs of eucalyptus. The bridesmaids all wore varying rose-colored, floor-length bridesmaid dresses and carried smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet. The men wore contrasting navy suits for the groom and light grey suits for the groomsmen.
During the outdoor ceremony, the Pacific Ocean created a fabulous wedding backdrop as the couple recited their vows. After the ceremony, the bride and groom, along with their guests, moved to the reception area where they were able to enjoy reception lawn games including corn hole and giant Connect Four, as well as a delicious wedding meal provided by the wedding and event caterers at Heat Culinary. The reception tables featured place settings with gold flatware and blue and white tie-dye napkins placed atop each plate. Macramé was found not only on the backs of the bride and groom’s chairs, but it also created a fun backdrop for the wedding dessert table filled with tasty treats such as cookies and colorful macaroons by Sugar Lab Bake Shop.
