We had a deep dive with Jon Harris, owner and founder of JSH Music Productions. A music aficionado, Jon also plays drums in and leads all of the live groups which he manages. From jazz, rock, country, funk, blues, soul and everything in between, JSH provides a plethora of options for live musician and DJ needs for weddings.
Q - What are your thoughts about guests dancing between cocktails + dinner - Yes or No and Why?
A - Sure! Pick a great song that will get all ages up and dancing for a quick and fun start to the reception. Give them a taste of the awesome band you've hired, and get everyone real hungry for the great catering you are about to serve!
Q - What is the #1 advice you give to couples planning their wedding with you?
A - Remember that the music is the energy for the entire reception - make sure to hire someone with plenty of experience performing at weddings!
Q - What is your favorite first dance song, and why?
A - Everything by Michael Bublé. Slightly uptempo (so it doesn't drag on), and just a great sounding tunes.
Q - What is your favorite last song, and why?
A - All Night Long by Lionel Richie. Just a fun vibe overall, and it's a long tune that has many well-known parts to sing along to

A - Combining live music and DJ services for the entire event
