The mountains swept down to meet the ocean for this couple’s June wedding photographed by Jensen Sutta. The groom, who is an avid sailor, and the bride, who grew up in the mountains of Santa Barbara, incorporated both of their backgrounds and passions into the beautiful celebration.

The day was full of whimsy and delicate details, starting with the bride’s ensemble. Her lace A-line wedding gown was paired with a floral-inspired headpiece and her bridesmaids wore a soft and dreamy shade of lilac. The venue itself, the iconic Santa Barbara Club, was the perfect choice for this magical day, and the ceremony in the gardens was a sight to see. Sun peaked through the tall trees and lush grass and greenery brightened the entire space.

Florals from Breanna Jane Botanicals were another high point of the wedding. Bouquets and reception centerpieces included pastels of all colors and were assembled into a wild, free-form shape.

And, we can’t forget to mention the surprise act towards the end of the night which mesmerized the entire party. The bride changed into a fun two-piece second look outfit and performed a hula hoop dance for her husband, another of their shared passions, to tunes provided by Gavin Roy Presents. Such a unique and personalized addition to their big day, and a moment they won’t soon forget.
