I met Kristine & Chris at the annual Botanic Gardens Trails n’ Tails event, where I photographed their pug. They ended up hiring me for their wedding photography, which in itself tells the story of how much they love their rescue pug, Hilda! And what their priorities are. From their engagement session to the wedding, Hilda was at the center of their thoughts. Hilda’s wedding prep team included the florist for her doggy boutonniere, Grass Roots Santa Barbara, a fancy leash from Accessorize Your Pug, grooming by TJ Paws, a bespoke dress made by her grandma, a specially assigned handler/care-taker/dog walker, and she even received her very own hand-written invitation.
This couple exudes kindness and class, filling the walls of the beautiful Santa Barbara Historical Museum with the best of friends and family, and giving them a variety of entertainment, from a cappuccino bar to board games. Their wedding utilized the most amazing and complete team of local talent and vendors to create a personalized, beautiful yet comfy wedding for everyone present.
