With the stunning backdrop of Sunstone Villa, the couple said “I Do” in front of family and friends. Flowerwild created lush garden inspired flowers with full blown open roses in tones of white, taupe, apricot, blush, with pops of pink. Ceremony featured elegant lavender plants potted in stone urns. At the reception, inspired by the phases of the moon the intricate wedding cake featured a hand painted moon, and, on the tables, crescent moons served as the seating cards. Elizabeth Messina photographed the wedding and Merryl Brown Events planned the wedding. From Merryl: “We incorporated features that celebrated the phases of the moon and other planetary elements, using soft and subtle tones, amazing flowers, gorgeous Italian china, and locally sourced foods from the celebrated Los Alamos Full of Life Flatbread.”

We love the details of this sweet, intimate wedding that took place the the iconic Santa Barbara Club. Bonded by travel, Lucy and Eric tied the knot with this theme in mind.
The Santa Barbara Club is a picturesque location to capture unique and artistic portrait images.
Event the cake had the globe trotting theme. The topper was just so worldly!
Down to the last details, the bride and groom bottles mimiced their personalizties, and travel favors of mini Jim Beam filled chocolates made for a sweet ending to the couples’ lovely Santa Barbara Club Wedding.
If you are a dog owner, chances are that your pooch is an important part of the family, and when the special day comes they are just as important in the wedding ceremony. Like anythign else with the wedding, do take the time plan how puppy-love will help celebrate your wedding.
Just like all the other pretty wedding details, it is important that Fido look just as snazzy as all the other members of the wedding party, from collar to leash, don’t forget it is all about the details.
There is an entire market for ‘dogwear’ which makes fancy tuxes, eclectic bow ties, and creative collars. Do a fitting to make sure everything fits perfectly before hand so that your special member doesn’t get uncomfortable. In the end, it adds a notable touch to the wedding party and everyone will be in awe of how handsome/pretty your dog is dressed.
There are some great new trends and tips to add to your wedding party that include your special member.
The cute dogs in floral or dogxedo outfits are a-dog-able and all, but they attention to details does take it one step further. Oftentimes, couples forget to spruce up the leash, which ends up being in pictures. SOLUTION: Talk to your florist about decorating the leash to match bouquets or ceremony floral, or purchase ribbon matching wedding colors that you can braid into or adhere to the leash, or simply buy a new leash, in black or leather to deck it out. This way Fido will walk down the aisle and stand by your side in-style during the ceremony.
Fido and his friends not invited to the nuptials? Tha’ts okay, I understand, it could be a dog-gone mess. You can still celebrate your four legged ball of fur by adding photos of your dog to place cards, or even add a dog treat to the wedding favor to show your love for all the special members that had to stay at home.
You want your dog at the wedding, he was in the save the date dog-goneit, but you want to be in the moment on your day, and don’t want to have to have the responsibility of worrying about the pooch. Find sitters who will bring your pet to the ceremony, take them home after, and / or watch them throughout the reception. You won’t have to worry about keeping them away from the chocolate cake and everything will be carefree during the special day!

A wedding is about joining two people, a promise, shared dreams, a lifetime spent nurturing those dreams. Whoever else you choose to share in this moment should bring only love to surround you.
It shouldn’t be about feeling indebted, family politics, obligation, it is only about love . . . so let it be so. Choose to surround yourself with beauty, encouragement, hope, joy, wonder, and lots and lots of unconditional love.
