No matter what time of the year, signature cocktails are always a hit at gatherings. As the weather chills down the cocktails heat up, and with Fall finally here, we have a variety of warm flavors to choose from. Pears, pomegranates, apples, quince, tangerines, blood oranges, grapefruit, cranberries, persimmons, and grapes all make their debut during this time of year. One of our favorites is our blood orange-cardamom martini. Spicy yet sweet in taste, this is wonderful garnished with a cocoa-sugar rim. For the more traditional at heart, we serve a holiday cranberry spritzer adorned with sugared cranberries on a mint sprig.
For a wedding coming up next month, the client wanted something refreshing and non-alcoholic when the guests arrived, but something with a little zing for cocktail hour. After many stirs, sips, and tipsy nights, we created a grapefruit-ginger punch, and a brandy persimmon cocktail with cinnamon sugar. The persimmon garnish makes for a beautifully unique looking cocktail. Both were stunning and not only did they taste wonderful, but they smelled heavenly.
Always a crowd pleaser and my personal favorite is our pomegranate-vanilla spritzer. Striking in color, this unique martini is fabulous with a simple lime or orange garnish. This chic cocktail is easy to make, and is even good for you.
