If you are an ocean lover, than this is up right up your “g-alley”!  The Channel Cat is a high end, private yacht that features three stories of deck space, staterooms, and balconies available for all types of events.

There are two private staterooms ideal for use as bride and groom dressing areas, in addition to private restrooms available for guests. The stunning yacht also features 10 ½ foot high ceilings and a 35 foot bar that reflect the expansiveness of the ship.

The owners of the Channel Cat are friendly, accommodating, and happy to work with clients on an individual basis to ensure a unique experience.

 

 

 

Whether you are interested in a romantic sunset cruise or a midday wine tasting, the Channel Cat provides the customized catering, music, and decoration necessary for a personal and beautiful event.

Pricing:

$$$

Site fee
The rental cost ranges from $2200 to $2500 per hour based on the size and type of event.
Capacity:
The yacht is US Coast Guard certified to occupy 149 passengers and 4 crew members.
Areas:
There are three floors total on the yacht, including the main salon, downstairs area, and upstairs bridge and pilot house. The yacht also features staterooms, private restrooms, and a 35 foot bar.
Restrooms:
The yacht includes both a private ladies restroom and men’s restroom.
Bridal Dressing Room:
There are state rooms available for both the bride and groom.
Time Allotments:
There is a minimum two hour rental for the yacht. Clients are allowed free boarding time 30 minutes prior to the event, for which there is no charge.
Catering:
The Channel Cat utilizes local outside catering, and Rachel is happy to recommend companies based on individual preference. There is a complete kitchen on the downstairs level that allows for any type of catering, both smaller and larger scale.
Parking:
There is parking available in the Santa Barbara city parking lots by the waterfront.
Music:
Piped in music for events is available, but clients are welcome to bring their own.
Alcohol Policy:
Alcohol is provided on the yacht. Each client can personalize their beverage list, including a selection of spirits and local wines based on the type of event.
What is Provided:
The Channel Cat provides furniture, dishes, glasses, silverware, and orchid centerpieces for tables on the ship.
Decoration:
Decoration is provided, but any extra flowers, draping, etc. can be placed onto the ship in the hours prior to the event.
Insurance:
Not required

Cancellation Policy:
There is a three month cancellation policy in order to receive a full refund for the event.

It has finally arrived!  Town and Country Event Rentals has been working on their “Montreal” collection of furniture . . . well,  for what seems like the amount of time it might take one to walk the distance between Santa Barbara and Montreal–but alas it has arrived, and I’m happy to report it was worth the wait.

Pictured below are the original pieces, long pictured on the website as “coming” and the new surprise additions that complete the very attractive family tree.

The “barn residence” sits amidst three acres of fields and rolling hills, and was smartly created with the one bedroom suite complete with restroom and kitchenette, which can be rented for the weekend.  The panoramic views of the Santa Ynez mountains, and contains amazing sunsets.

 

 

There is also two covered areas on either side of the barn, and an outdoor entertainment area features ample room and facilities to support outdoor receptions, barbeques, campfires and musical entertainment.

 

 

This is a Ceremony and Reception Venue with overnight accommodations available for additional rental.

Requirements: transportation, bring in professional caterer, all rentals needed, no smoking allowed on premises

Catering: A certified, professional caterer required.

Parking: only 3 vehicles allowed on site, guest shuttles required.

Music: allowed until 10 p.m.

Alcohol Policy: provide own alcohol, poured by a licensed caterer or bartending service

What is Provided: day-use bridal changing room, firepit (non-fire months) grill, heaters, generator, movable staging for band

Decoration: lighting needed.   Alterations of the Ranch (including trees, buildings, fences and improvements) are expressly prohibited. Nothing may be attached or affixed to the barns, trees, fences or improvements.  No equipment, materials, or decorations may be hung from trees without the prior written consent of the owner.

Insurance: Event liability insurance required

Cancellation Policy: non-refundable 50% deposit up.  Non refundable full deposit up to 60 days before event.
