Santa Barbara Style: Dress Love
This morning, flipping through an issue of C Magazine, I was suddenly stopped in my tracks by a gorgeous gown in an ad for designer Tadashi Shoji. Minutes later I found myself googling his name to hunt down this dress and find out more about the designer behind it. There was just something about the romantic textural quality of the flutters of silk, which covered the entire slim profile, strapless, a-line gown – neatly belted with a simple ribbon sash. Much to my surprise and delight, Tadashi Shoji designs are not only beautifully designed but they are also surprisingly accessible and affordable. Nordstroms and Bloomingdales have a variety of designs available online.
This blush color would be perfect for a Bride who is looking for a non-traditional dress, or as spectacular bridesmaid dresses. If you are considering it for a bridesmaids dress, it also comes in short version. If you are a bride that must wear white, below are some other options from the collection.
