One would never expect to be immersed in such a spacious, sophisticated location by viewing Carr Vineyard and Winery from the outside. Perfect while enjoying a warm, bright summer day in Santa Barbara, you will be transported into a cool modern environment immediately upon stepping through the doors of the circular-shaped building.

Lofty ceilings may be the first thing to catch your eye, but the softened lighting and rich dark woodwork are instantly calming. This location is the perfect venue for an intimate special occasion cocktail hour or dinner.  This wine lovers environment requires little to no decoration, while sipping wine amidst the stainless steel vessels and dark wood seating area.

This winery incorporates many steps of the wine-making process into its décor, such as wall portions made out of recycled Carr Winery corks, and tables supported by wine barrels.

If a reception here is not your glass of wine, this location also serves as a great wine-tasting spot for your guests looking for a pre or post-wedding weekend activity.

Tables equipped for backgammon, chess, and shuffleboard are nestled in a nook, providing entertainment for people while sampling wine.

Carr Vineyard and Winery specializes in ultra, premium, or limited production wines from Santa Barbara County and offers wine on tap to save on bottles and the environment.  In fact, you can purchase a Carr Winery bottle and have it filled.

Pricing: $

Site fee: Final billing will be assessed upon partial or full bottles of wine consumed. The renter will receive a final bill including wine consumed, facility rental fee, $150 cleaning fee, gratuity and any additional services at the end of the event. A credit card number is required for deposit and total costs.

Requirements: Wine will be charged by consumption by the bottle ($30-60). 15% gratuity will be added to wine total. Security deposit of $500 along with a signed contract is required before a requested date can be reserved. Deposit is non-refundable in case of cancellation. Deposit will go toward final bill as long as facility is left in good condition.

Time Allotments: after regular business hours Sunday thru Wednesday 6PM- 12AM; Thursday, Friday, Saturday 8PM-12AM (times can be earlier if needed but pricing is subject to change)

Catering: Food must be produced by a licensed caterer. Set up, tear down, and cleanup of all items supplied by the caterer is the sole responsibility of the caterer. An additional clean up fee equivalent to the hourly rental fee, may be charged to the renter in the event that the caterer fails to fulfill this requirement. Although other caterers are allowed, Carr Vineyard and Winery works with Fire and Ice Catering. Website: http://fievents.com/.

Parking: hourly parking until 5PM, then no time limit. For large groups, recommended carpool or group transportation to venue. Individual parking also available on Gutierrez.

Music: for bands, less than 5 people preferred. DJ’s also permitted. Stereo/ CD player available at no cost. Live music must be approved by Carr Winery.

Alcohol Policy: No alcoholic beverages other than Carr Wineries may be served on premises. Renter may supply sparkling wine/ champagne from an outside source. $20 per bottle corkage fee will apply. Winery reserves the right to ID anyone and to refuse service to anyone whom they feel is intoxicated. No one under 21 is allowed to consume alcoholic beverages. Non-alcoholic beverage service is encouraged, but is responsibility of the caterer.

What is Provided: Carr Winery glasses will be provided during event. Broken or missing glasses are subject to a $6.00 glass fee. Two winery employees are provided with rental fee. Additional required or requested employees are $25 per hour. Coordination of event (music, catering, rentals) can be provided at $100 per hour fee.

Decoration: No confetti, glitter, or similar items are permitted. All decorations must be approved by Carr Winery. Any additional set-up time will be charged at the hourly rate.
