"This is the Year for Women, who create, and are lady bosses. Most everything was hand crafted or carefully sourced. All the flowers used were California grown, the vases were either made by Kristin (and her jewelry!) or vintage. Dominique Calvillo is created crochet pieces (Namaste and Crochet), and doing bridal hair and make up is her bread and butter. The shoot was done during the middle of the day when the “magic hour” light had not yet arrived, but it was shot anyway on film by Megan Sorel Photography, so that mothers could get to their children that they are responsible for. This is making it happen with our crazy schedules, everybody collaborating together, to make it work.” – Margaret Lloyd, Florist
