Flower Child Micro Wedding with a Picnic on the Beach
Flowers appeared to be the theme of the day during this beach wedding featuring delicate floral designs from Ella & Louie, an adorable flower girl dressed in pink, and cohesive flower child details. The ceremony was held on the Santa Barbara beach with blue waves crashing in the background. An overcast sky made the pink and orange arrangements on the triangular wedding arch pop and helped James & Jess Photography to get some amazing shots of the couple. For the occasion, the bride fittingly wore a boho-style dress from Free People with a vine hairpiece in place of a veil, while the groom wore a casual tan suit.
Before heading to the reception with Luxe Transportation, the couple along with their small group of guests enjoyed an elaborate picnic right on the beach. Alexandra Chandler, owner of Slate Catering, used her eye for composition in order to create a colorful set up complete with grazing boards, orange retro glasses, and square pillows for the couple and their guests to sit on.
Over at Loquita, a Spanish-style Santa Barbara restaurant, the party enjoyed a meal made right in front of them and ended with a wedding cake from Jane Restaurant. The night ended with the couple and their guests enjoying each other’s company and the Santa Barbara weather on the restaurant’s open-air dining patio.
