Lavender and Blue Wedding with an El Paseo Reception

This bride and groom chose the grounds of Santa Barbara City College for their ceremony venue surrounded by dramatic views of both the mountains and the ocean all at once. The couple stood in the center of a rose petal heart on a perfect late fall day as Reverend Miriam Lindbeck led them through their vows.

Shades of purple and blue defined the day - patterned blue tablecloths dressed up the reception tables, bridesmaids were dressed in various shades of blue bridesmaid dresses, and lavender bundles were sprinkled throughout the day. The bride also carried a bouquet crafted by Santa Barbara event florists Behind the Scenes of mostly whites with a few pops of lavender flowers. The groom and his groomsmen wore matching suits and bright blue ties with a simple boutonniere on their lapels.

After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their wedding party traveled via Rockstar Trolley to El Paseo Restaurant for an evening filled with a delicious wedding meal, awesome music by wedding DJ Gavin Roy Presents and a delightful dessert made by The Andersen's. Guests enjoyed a traditional wedding cake as well as other various desserts including a churro bar with multiple dipping sauces. Town and Country Event Rentals helped to furnish the Santa Barbara reception while Spark Creative Events made it shine with string lights draped overhead.
